Friends

Well, it has been quite some time since I've posted anything. Life has been pretty busy for me. My oldest daughter got married recently so between getting ready for her wedding, helping her to get moved in to her new apartment, work and the holiday, I have been running around like mad!
I will post some pictures of her wedding when I get them downloaded!
In the meantime, here are a few cards using Penny Black images I made just before things got crazy.

Here is a close-up of the small butterflies I punched out using a Martha Stewart punch. I glittered them up and scored them down the center so I could bend their wings up. I glued them down with SU glue dots so they stand up on the card.

Aren't these images just so sweet!

Stampotique Girls

I recently made these little girls for my LSS. I just love them as they are very different from my usual cutsie images. As you can tell by my first card I went immediately for pink!

Then, I felt I needed to break away from my usual color preference and try something a little more "gothic" as my daughters call it. However, I couldn't help but add flowers so they are half "goth" and half "girlie". What do you think?

I think this last one is my favorite!

Note Cards

Well, it is Friday at last and it is such a beautiful day! It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend too! I am hoping to do some more stamping this weekend. I have a couple of projects due for my local stamping store.

The following cards I did recently though I've had these Lockhart stamps for months now. I bought them at the Carson Convention back in March. I really enjoyed coloring them and I think I want some more!

The sentiments for all of these cards were done on the computer and then I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut them out. The small flower stamped on the sentiments are Stamps by Judith.

Have a great weekend everyone!

More Monkeys

I can't get enough of these cute little monkeys. Here I used Chatterbox papers and colored little Changito in brown, like he supposed to be! I used my Crafter's Companion, Enveloper Pro, to make envelopes with matching liners.

I just received some new Changito, summer release, stamps. Can't wait to use them!

Pink Monkeys!

Hi everyone, happy Friday!

Welcome to my new Blog! I really like this blogging thing but I have been slow in getting the hang of it but, I think I have the basics down so here we go!

I've been working on a few cards using the Making Memories Spring papers. I am so drawn to pastel colors, especially pink, blue and yellow. I think it is because they are traditionally baby colors and I just love babies! I know monkeys are supposed to be brown but I think they are darling in pink! The Changito line of stamps from Stampendous are soooo cute and they just came out with new images too. I also stamped the envelopes to match and lined the yellow envelope with patterned paper that I stamped myself. I had planned on lining all of the envelopes but pooped-out.

I plan on listing these in my Etsy store.
